The NET Conference is where electric cooperatives and businesses meet. But once we have secured that facetime with our local businesses, what is next? We'll take you through real life case studies of winning interactions, pitfalls to avoid and disruptive technologies that you need to keep an eye on. Then, we'll dig into rates and take a look at the hot topics on the minds of the energy and facility managers that we serve. This deep dive will help any co-op employee better grasp the challenges of working with non-residential members.

2) Commercial Building HVAC & Automation. Hear from Mitsubishi Electric how Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) heat pumps package the complexity of traditional heating, cooling and controls elements into a single super high efficient system. Also, CleanSpark will broaden the discussion to include microgrid management and sustainability."

10) Beyond the Battery: Energy Storage for Today's Communities. Energy storage is touted as a game changer making the grid more efficient, helping integrate variable output of renewables, and enabling consumers to manage demand. Battery development for stationary and mobile applications is making great strides. While batteries garner most of the attention, some research into other methods of storing energy including the electric water heater. Beyond the storage device, how energy storage is controlled, utilized, and valued at the individual consumer and aggregated community level makes this an energizing topic.

SEAL Team Six: Memoirs of an Elite Navy SEAL Sniper
Dr. Howard Wasdin  |  Keynote  |  Biography
Hear the incredible journeys of valor and victory by retired U.S. Navy SEAL, Dr. Howard Wasdin. Howard served in the U.S. Navy for twelve years, nine of which were as part of the SEAL Teams. After twelve years, he was medically discharged due to the injuries he sustained in Mogadishu. The Somalia conflict would later become more commonly known as "Black Hawk Down", nick-named after the story depicted by Mark Bowden in his book and movie of the same name.

This course will build on the Managing Your Electric Cooperative's Key Accounts course by providing the insights, tools, and networking perspectives that will enable you to successfully align and implement key account strategies to position your cooperative for success.  This course focuses on the relationship-building and financial analysis functions of the key accounts role.  Instruction and practice will focus on planning for and conducting key accounts meetings, and on performing financial analysis for energy related changes and effectively communicating the results.  The Managing Your Electric Cooperative's Key Accounts course is a pre-requisite, and participants will earn CKAE credits.
